"Get inspired by Nussbaumer’s lush, dramatic interiors
inspired by travels around the world."
—The Society Diaries
"Nussbaumer's passion is for the exotic: Turkish textiles,
Moroccan rugs, Indian paintings, and Venetian furniture, all of
which lend her clients' homes a worldly flair. . . . Nussbaumer's
interiors are the kind that invite more than a passing glance,
instead revealing their splendor upon thoughtful observation- and
that's just what makes this book so captivating."
—PeakOfChic.com
"Home decor finds and words of inspiration from Michelle
Nussbaumer's new book, 'Wanderlust: Interiors That Bring the
World Home.'"
—Luxe Interiors & Design
"Michelle Nussbaumer’s first-ever work draws on her travels for
inspiration for both interior projects and her
Dallas store, CEYLON ET CIE. Organized by mood and style, the
book profiles the author’s own homes in Texas and Switzerland in
addition to those of her clients."
—EditorAtLarge.com
"One exotic trip after the next, Wanderlust is filled with
opulent homes that all tell stories of travel. You’ll be seduced
by Nussbaumer’s talent for bringing together far-flung elements
to create a beautifully curated home."
—ToryBurch.com
"our husband is wondering why you've started draping fur rugs
over your living room chairs and hanging copper plates on your
walls. Point him to your inspiration, Wanderlust: Interiors that
Bring the World Home, the first book from celebrated local
interior designer Michelle Nussbaumer."
—Dallas Tidbits
"In this marvelously excessive book, Michelle Nussbaumer brings
life to homes and hearts through her worldly & sophisticated
creative viewpoint. Never one to create a "just shopped for"
space, Michelle's projects celebrate the variety of art, design
and cultural elements important to her clients. Mixing eras,
blurring continental divides and serving up her signature style,
the designer inspires us to bring a taste of the world into our
own homes as well."
—FrankiDurbin.com
"Perhaps that’s what’s drawing us to 'Wanderlust: Interiors that
Bring the World Home' by Michelle Nussbaumer. . . . This debut
book by Nussbaumer, who’s billed as “a curator who discovers
exquisite treasures all over the world for her projects and her
Dallas-based design store, Ceylon et Cie,” features her dramatic
interior projects, which touch on an array of styles and moods –
and even take us into her own homes, in Texas and Switzerland."
—Wagmag.com
"Peter Hutton Wilkinson, who penned the foreword in Michelle
Nussbaumer’s premier tome, Wanderlust: Interiors that Bring the
World Home (Rizzoli), the eccentric, well-traveled interior
designer is 'a dream catcher, a three-dimensional storyteller, a
seductive sorceress whose enchanted vision must be obeyed.'"
