These are high carbon steel carving tools, and they'll hold an edge for many projects, just hone them every so often and they'll work for you in any power carving application!

Will not hold edge in Foredom carving handpiece
Within a minute the blades dull in use with foredom reciprocating handpiece. Foredom chisels hold up. But not the variety.
