Doesn’t immediately get detected by iOS operating system
I previously wrote that it does not work. After talking to Apple who acknowledged the problem is the operating system as the same problem occurred with their SD card reader. Initially, I could not even examine the card, but using a trick Apple showed me, I can reboot the iPad with the multi-port adapter and SD card installed, then read the card through the files program; just like you would with a laptop. After following the new procedure, this is a very nice and useful device.

solid; works great
It's not heavy, but not the lightest either, which is a good thing. The product seems built to last (at least in terms of computer stuff). It works well and looks sharp.

Must Have.
Love this. Haven’t tried all the ports yet but I love the variety and the multiple USB ports. It has the HDMI port as well so I don’t have to get an additional adapter for my MacBook. Rose gold metal matches rose gold MacBook Air PERFECTLY 😍. A smidge pricey but the brand came highly recommended and I prefer durability over cheap affordable products. Fingers crossed it keeps up the good work!

I read this item was very good and tried it. So far so good. It has all the ports I need and may need. One never knows. The Rose gold matches my MacBook Air perfectly.

Essential Gear if you have a MacBk with only a few USB-C/Firewire ports.
Extremely handy enhancement of my Mac Book Pro. I wouldn't leave home without it!!

Doesn't work
The ethernet port doesn't work for more than a few seconds and then drops you from the internet connection. They promise you that it has all these ports, but it doesn't function in the most basic way. It is styled and colored to be an exact match to the Mac books in the rosy gold color, and mine came with a Mac ID number and barcode sticker on it, but it is not an Apple/Mac product, so that seems to me to be deliberately misleading/ false advertising. I've heard that there are a massive number of complaints about this product not functioning, so I think this company should be sanctioned and avoided. They are scammers.
