Rachael Ray Dinnerware Seasons Changing 16-Piece Porcelain Dinnerware Set

I have wanted this dinnerware set for well over a year, so when I finally decided to order it, I had very high expectations. The packaging was excellent; everything was delivered intact, no chips, no scratches. The colours are just as pictured, which is wonderful for my kitchen and dining room theme.The dinner plates are very large, and also have a raised edge all around them; perfect for keeping sauces and smaller foods from falling off. The dessert plates also have this feature. The bowls appear somewhat small, but they are quite deep and can hold a lot of food. The mugs are also very nice, much better than any others I have bought in a set.With how busy life is for me, I love that I can put them in the dishwasher and not have to worry about any damage happening to the gorgeous design. Absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this set!

I Love dinnerware . I'm always looking for new sets to brighten my tabletop.Rachel Ray's Season's Changing does just that. Besides being a nice quality, it's fresh and cheerful and makes dining a happy experience. Puts a smile on my face!I initially bought a set for 4 but reordered another after I saw it. Can't wait to use it at my next dinner party!

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas, and she was thrilled! She said it was such a HAPPY dinnerware set and since she is remodeling her kitchen, she is choosing some of her colors around it. I redecorated her living room walls this fun color green, and the kitchen is open to her living room, so it ties together nicely. She felt they were very inspiring, (made her want to cook some fabulous meals!) and that the pattern was very young, modern and fresh. I feel the same way and first choose the pattern for her for all of those reasons. Be aware that the colors in person are somewhat brighter than the picture, which to me only reflected the bright, fun green we see in paint colors today. You will love these dishes!!!

I was looking for several days trying to find the right pattern for my everyday dishware and nothing went pow for me until I found these dishes. I read reviews from other people who ordered other Rachel Ray's dishware and was encouraged to go ahead to buy this set. I love this design and the complementary salad plates and dinner plates which makes the set memorable. I received the dishes today and they were very well packed and nothing was chipped or broken. They are quite substantial, not thin pieces. The only thing is that the rim on the bottom of the plates is very rough, so I bought some felt dish protectors to prevent scratches. That would be my only complaint, this is why I gave the rating of four. I would still recommend the dishes despite that rating. Someone from another review complained about the all the cautions included with the dishes but almost all of them are common sense, like not microwaving dishes right after they have been in the freezer. You would never do that to any dishware...at least I wouldn't.I will be interested to see how they hold up over time and might do a follow up in six months.

I can understand some of the issues with the print. In fact, the print (leaves and green stems) does chip off and does not have any clear enamel protecting them. I haven't really used these yet, but I imagine simply hand washing will help preserve the look of these. The white color is also not nearly as bright as the pictures suggest -- it seems a bit dingy. Overall, though, they're OK. Since they were on a serious sale price, I think they're fine. I would never pay full retail price for these, though.They're not as heavy as thick, stoneware but not as lightweight as something like Corelle.

The dishes are very clean and cheerful in design and the porcelain is of very nice quality. The dinner plates are large. Great purchase for the price. Arrived in very sturdy packaging.I bought 3 sets.

These plates look just as good in person as they do online. Now, I did notice what people were talking about with the bottoms of the plates being a little rough, but I don't think that it will be a problem so I haven't bothered with plate protectors. They have been through the dishwasher a few times already and don't look any worse for it. I am planning on buying another box of these after six months if they hold up well. Also, I was worried that they might be look too seasonal to be used outside of the fall or winter, but they really aren't. If you dress your table with light linens and bright accents (maybe green or yellow), I think they can also be perfect for spring and summer.Now, my biggest complaint is that they don't sell the matching pasta plates.I was also impressed with the packaging. They made a very efficient use of space and were packed tightly enough to avoid breakage.

I loved this set when I first got it two years ago. The colors made me smile every time I used them. The china is sturdy and there have been no chips. However, the colors didn't hold up after washing many times in the dishwasher (and we buy the gentlest version of Cascade - not the potscrubber version). The glaze on the green dessert plates wore off after the first year and the color started fading after that. I've already thrown them away since they weren't even good enough to donate to Goodwill anymore. The other dishes have fared somewhat better, though the light green leaves are gone from most of them. I'll probaby use them for another year or so while I pick out another pattern. If I was the kind of person who bought new dishes every few years, I'd have been happy with these. However, overall, I'm disappointed.
