Great for Digestion – But Be Prepared for the Taste
I bought the Garden of Life Raw Organic Food Alkalizer & Detoxifier because I was looking for a clean, organic green powder to support digestion and detox. I love that it’s non-GMO, gluten-free, and packed with alkalizing greens and probiotics.While the lemon ginger scent is actually quite pleasant, I’m not going to lie—the taste is not. It has that classic “green powder” bitterness, so instead of mixing it with their recommended 8 oz of water, I use a small amount of water just enough to quickly get it down in one gulp. Then I follow it with a glass of warm water and a bit of honey, and that works really well for me.Despite only using 1/4 of the recommended scoop, I’ve already noticed I’m going to the bathroom more regularly and just feeling “lighter.” This means one jar is going to last me at least 4 months, which makes it an excellent value.Overall I’m really happy with the product and the benefits I’m experiencing.

Digestive system restore
I have been drinking this in the morning for a week now. Only using 1/8 teaspoon in water with a little ice. Very soothing drinking. On the 5th morning this stuff really works as a mover. That’s what I was hoping for. Eliminate magnesium supplement for that purpose. I like the taste. I am not using a whole scoop. For me that would be way to much.

WARNING!!!!!! This product does work, but be aware that you’re going to go through 3-4 days of a living nightmare of painStart small!! Jumping to the full amount is not smart. You will spend days in the bathroom with body aches, headaches, and major major stomach pain.
