can i use this in a journal? to get the stencil to stick then take it back up again?

Maybe? You would want to do a very light coat and then stick it onto a different surface several times so the adhesive isn't as strong. it's not going to be able to be very sticky or you will ruin the paper in your journal. Test on plain paper before you try it in your journal.

Will this product help with preventing bleed out when applying paint to the Mylar stencil? If not any recommendations?

Yes, when sprayed lightly on the back of mylar stencils this will help create a seal to keep paint from bleeding. We also recommend a dry brush or dry roller technique to prevent bleeding.

Hi - When used for stencils, does this spray do a good job of preventing bleeding (seeping) and giving sharp edges to the design? Thank you!

Yes it does help secure your stencil to prevent bleeding, just remember to use a light spray. Thank you Stencilease Customer Service

How is the spray removed (from the stencil)? Can it be washed off with water or is a solvent (like isopropanol) needed?

Thank you for your inquiry. This spray adhesive can be removed using warm water and dish soap. You may also use a citrus - based cleaner to clean the stencil.Thank you,The Stencil Ease Team

It helps keeping the stencil from moving

It is a good spray, but you cannot wash it off. So it wants to stick To everything. I do have a problem.Put no way the stencil Once it has been sprayed, because I want to stick together.
