No, the spray bottle version of the product (as compared to the aerosol or can version) does not have a fragrance in it. It holds well and is not sticky.

I find no scent on the Consort men's hair spray. It is a light spray so I would think it would be fine for women's curly hair.

I have used this product for several years. For the amount that I spray on my hair, I would say that it is NOT shinny and would be more like a Matte finish. Of course, if you spray too much on your hair and saturate the hair then it will look shinny. I hope this helps.. ST
