It works great on my Simplicity Garden Tractor. Its so easy to use. Not all of my trailers, leaf rake, lawn roller, etc have the ball hitch on them. Just pull the pin and turn it over for the hitch that uses a pin. The hook is great for the tow strap when pulling small trees out of the woods. It's built Very Well!!! Great deal for $34.88.

I saw this hitch combo on YouTube and knew I wanted one for my riding lawn mower. Now that I have the hitch, and have attached it to my lawn mower, there are a number of issues that I have to fix before I will be able to actually use it. First of all, the hitch and receiver/adapter seem to be very well made. I have no complaints about that and for my purposes, I expect it will last years longer than my mower. As others have mentioned, the 3/4 inch bolt for the adapter would not fit through the hole in my Poulon Pro mower hitch plate. I made a quick trip to our local Fleet Supply store and bought a 5/8 inch bolt, flat washer, star washer, lock washer and nut for 68 cents, total. I set the 3/4 inch bolt and washers aside in case I ever need to mount the hitch on an ATV. As soon as I bolted down the hitch to my mower, I knew that the mounting plate on the mower would not be strong enough. In fact, the mower's hitch plate stated to bend under the weight of the hitch and adapter alone. As a test, I hooked up a small trailer to the hitch and the mower's hitch plate bent so much that I was not able to lock the trailer ball receiver on the ball. Until I figure out how to reinforce the mower's hitch plate, I will not be able to use this hitch like I had envisioned. However, just as a test, I pulled the trailer around the yard on some flat ground. The lawn mower pulled the weight without any problem, so I suspect that if I can reinforce the hitch plate on the mower, I will be in working business. As others have already mentioned, the hitch adapter, even with the star washer, does not stay straight on my mount. This is not a problem for me if you only pull forward, but if you need to back up your trailer, I can foresee a number of problems with the hitch adapter twisting. When I get my mower mount reinforced, I will be thinking about ways to fix that twisting problem. I don't want to weld the adapter permanently to my mower, but that would certainly solve the twisting problem. Bottom line: This is a great adapter and hitch with all kinds of potential, but if you plan on using it on your lawn tractor, you might be faced with a number of small issues that will have to fixed before you can actually use this hitch.

Just what I needed for a Can-am ATV which gas a short receiver sleeve for the draw-bar part of the hitch. Most draw-bars are too long and the back of the draw-bar hits the rear axle of the ATV before the holes for the retainer bolt line up. It works fine. One more tip, if you want to install an addition ball, you need to find one with a 5/8" stem. Not easy to do. I found one designed to be used on a garden tractor. Amazon might want to make 1 7/8" and 2" balls with 5/8" stems available.

Product was what they described. Very well made, it's not going to break. I had to modify the hole on my cub cadet lawn tractor for the bolt. I would have gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I assembled it as instructed and tightened the crap out of it and it still moved to the right and left when i had the trailer hooked to it BUT It's an easy fix and is made for an atv so that may not be an issue with atv's.. I plan on welding a piece onto it to keep it from moving.. I would buy it again great product..

This is a good concept but it does have it's limitations. I put this on my Grizzly 660 and I even went further and welded the hitch to the factory hitch because it was pivoting when I would turn with a heavy load. I got a little gutsy and put a bunch of weight on the hitch and it snapped off my OEM hitch. I went ahead and built a new custom heavy duty hitch and now I just use the three way hitch and not the receiver part. This is a good idea for someone pulling a mower or light trailer but for any really heavy pulling, go with a custom or OEM receiver.

This hitch is very well made and heavy duty. Certainly secure enough to tow and back a small to mid size trailer. Because of concerns about it pivoting on the attachment bolt, I'll get mine welded to the ATV before pulling my larger/heavier trailer. This also makes it easy to hook the log chain for pulling logs out of the woods and I can still hook the dump cart with the pin hitch.

Excellent tool. Meets all expectations and exceeds in that it turns a standard lawn or garden tractor rear hitch hole into a 2" receiver as well as performing it's obvious functions. The one problem with it is that the bolt that attaches to the tractor is one size too large for the standard attachment hitch hole. If I am not mistaken about the sizes, the standard hole is 1/2" and this product has a 5/8". i could be off by an eighth on both measurements as I am not near it now to confirm but in any event, it does not fit. I have two garden tractors and a lawn tractor and the situation is the same. I could have drilled out the tractor hole but since the arm is about a quarter inch thick of hardened steel, I do not have the tools. Instead, I reduced the size of the bolt which compromized the integrity of the joint and now it swivels a bit. Larry Long Island.

If you own a tractor or ATV this is a must have. Instead of looking around the garage for the right clevis hitch for the job, this one fits it all. Heavy duty and can pull tree logs to trailers. Whoever invented this thing is a genius. Best on the market as I has seen several others at a higher price and lighter duty.

This hitch is high quality and very functional. Perfect for the lawn tractor to haul stuff around the yard. The fact you can change the hitch to a different use in seconds makes this worth the money. Don't see the need to ever buy one again. This will last and can easily be repaired if it breaks (breakage is unlikely). 5 stars all around.

Nice hitch

Great product simple but yet very versatile and heavy duty bonus 3500lb ball and heavy thick metal nothing cheap on this at all simply bolt on ball and attack reviver to atv and done 2 bolts that's it. Just hope it's not to heavy on bike it's much stronger and heavier than I though which is bonus

Overall you can't go wrong with this hitch. It's well built and will do the job it claims. Only issue is that the bolt that secures the hitch to the atv frame is way too short. It needs to be 1-1.5" longer. I got around this issue by securing it with my old ball that I originally had on the atv. Even that is questionable as it still wasn't long enough to allow for the lock washer. I will just have to keep checking it's tightness untill the rust takes hold of it.
