High quality, great value. I've been using this brand for years, always happy with the ease of use (spiral bound) and the size is just right for taking on trips, collecting sketches to produce paintings later on. The surface easily accepts graphite, ink, acrylic paint, watercolor.

Paper is very good for multi media. I especially like it for watercolor sketches that don’t require much water, & for drawing with micro pens or colored pastel pencils. Paper thickness could be a little firmer if planning to frame, but is workable.

This 2 pack is a great value. These are so expensive in the box stores.

I like this sketchbook, it’s cover is a bit bland, however compared to some other sketchbooks I’ve found with elegant covers, it’s fantastic.Okay so I have order many different sketchbooks of different brands. Just so I can keep some blank sketchbooks to start an adventure in art! This is one of 3 two packs I got. I’ve almost filled one of the two I got from this listing. Compared to another brand, the other ripped while I was erasing my pencil lines! But the paper is sturdy, and I’ve nearly finished filling my first with back to back art. …However I took one star off the ‘for beginners’ category. The reason is in order to make sure your markers or other mediums don’t bleed though the page and ruin your work on the next page, you need to place a ‘bleed sheet’ under you current page. If you are unfamiliar with the concept allow me to reassure you, it’s fairly simple. A sheet of common printer paper, or maybe 2… I actually use 4 since this book is bigger than standard printer paper. But the point is as long as you have a bleed sheet under your page, the colors stay on the page your working on, and not on the next page.60 sheets, and 60 full color pages. Do not expect to have 2 brilliant color works on one sheet. (Unless you divide the sheet into sections, as I’ve done, see image)Final note, I’ve seen with other sketchbooks I use markers in, uh I guess the most common term is a ‘yellowing’ where in the page on top or under a page that has you marker art, develops a yellow color mirroring the shape of select colors from the marker art page. I was so sad when I went into an old book and saw this… I don’t know if that will happen to this book, since it took like a year before the ‘yellowing’ occurred on the other book. If anything comes up I’ll update this review.TLDR:*Sturdy paper,*Use a ‘bleed sheet’*no evidence of ‘yellowing’ after 2 and half months, will update if it shows up.It is my personal opinion that this brand know what they are doing, and the double pack is such a good deal.If you are the kind of artist who, like me, fills sketchbooks up so fast you keep blank books around to draw anything that comes to mind, add this 2 pack to your collection. Or not I don’t control your money. XD
