Lamp 2160 LVA2160 Colormax Northern Lights, 14.5-inches, Glitter with Clear Liquid and Decal Base

My 6 yr old daughter loves this and insisted we give this a 5 star rating. It is a very cool take on the traditional lava lamp. We bought several of those types, each having their own issues with the lava or haziness until we finally gave up and went with this glitter version. It does not disappoint. The glitter is mesmerizing and makes unique reflection patterns on the wall. Unlike the lava lamps, there is practically no wait time until the glitter starts moving. The only weird issue we noticed is that the glitter seems to float to the top after turning off and cooling. If you give the bottle a quick swirl motion it'll bring it back into action though. Overall it is a very pretty lamp and would highly recommend.

OMG!!...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! TRUST ME ITS WAY PRETTIER IN PERSON😍 IM HAPPY I PURCHASED IT.... I RECENTLY ORDERED A LAVA LAMP FROM AMAZON... RIGHT BEFORE THIS PURCHASE AND IT WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET GOING MATTER OF FACT IT NEVER GOT GOING LOL THE LIGHT BULB BLEW OUT ON ME TWICE DISAPPOINTING I DECIDED TO GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY AND THIS TIME IM TRULY IN LOVE WITH IT WAY PRETTIER THAN THE REGULAR WAX LAVA LAMP.... IT HAS PRETTY GLITTER THAT ALWAYS HAS IT LOOKING SHINY AND SPARKLY.. DOESNT REALLY REMIND ME OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS.... BUT I LOVE IT ANYWAY😍 DEF RECOMMEND👍🏼

I got this as a gift for my daughters birthday. It has be plugged in and working for 2 days (only on for bits at a time). I did not receive it with any broken parts as some reviewers had experienced, which is great. I was worried that the bulb or glass would be broken. It could have been though as it was not packaged with the glass and fragility in mind. In my case I was lucky. But if you are thinking about purchasing this item please note that it is not packaged properly for an easily brakeable item. It is quite beautiful and the glitter dances around and it's fun to watch. But it does get extreamly hot. I have never owned a lava lamp and I understand they are supposed to get hot to melt the globs and so on. I guess I just didn't realize it gets this hot. I would not recommend keeping it on over night. It also gives off a good amount of heat in my daughter's room and if it's been on for more than an hour her room is noticably warmer. So we are keeping an eye on it to make sure it's not near anything that can melt or be affected by the heat. I'm not sure how much of a safety hazard this could be, or how normal a lava lamp heats up. So just a heads up. Bottom line is: it's beautiful and does what if says it does, and the price is not bad. But it gets extreamly hot and is packaged poorly.

I dropped mine because my middle name is clumsy. That thing did not break. I don't know how, but it didn't. There are small lil scratches, but it doesn't bother me considering I thought I'd have to clean up that liquid and glitter. It is beautiful!!! I love it so much, it's good to use as a night light too. Get extra light bulbs though, if you do use it as a nightlight.

This is absolutely gorgeous. If you are considering it and it's on any sort of sale I got it for $19 plus tax and it was worth every penny. Included a video but even the video doesn't do it Justice it's just magic and beautiful it goes from ultraviolet to magenta and has thousands of incredible sparkles completely beautiful and great for home décor was a gift for your friends! 5 stars!

Fun colors

So this was a gift for my daughter's galaxy themed bedroom. This lamp is BEAUTIFUL for the record. It worked extremely well and had zero issues for weeks. She uses it everyday for a few hours. The last few days she's noticed a decrease in movement of the glitter inside. Upon closer inspection we can see that the liquid inside is slowly dissipating. There is no leak we can find. It's very odd! I wouldn't think that it could evaporate, but I am really at a loss. We have marked the level with a sharpie on the glass and have been tracking it and it seems we lose a little more each day. She is still using it, and is very fond of it. For the price I can't make myself get to upset over it. It's just unfortunate and will need to be replaced soon.

Tiene un bonito diseño, con colores vistosos que a mi hija le gustan mucho. Lo que no me gustó es que parte de la estructura es de aluminio y en el envío se dobló, por lo cual, al recibirla tuve que enderezarla. Pero al final quedó muy bien.

Love these lava lamps. Own multiple for an ambient glow in our house! My kids love to watch the groovy colours move!

Bom produto, mas veio com lâmpada queimada. Como a lâmpada é muito específica, levei um bom tempo para encontrá-la. Uma vez tendo a lâmpada nova, funcionou e bem.

Really a cool looking lamp, the purple/pink/blue colouring on the glass combined with plenty of silver glitter really makes this lamp pop... the reflections on the wall behind it sort of look like a flock of birds... fun to watch! I've owned a couple other sparkle lamps from Lava and this is by far the most vibrant and eye catching of them. I use it in a TV/living room setting with a couple other similarly coloured lamps for ambient light and it looks great. If you like sparkle lamps, or have only tried lava lamps and want to try something different, this is the one to get... very easy to recommend especially if you like this colour combo as I do! Should also mention that pictures really don't do this item justice, much better in person.
