Beautiful is the only word to truly describe what could be made from this high quality mold..I put resin in this candle mold..The mold is very thick and sturdy, demolding was no problem.i put a light underneath the finished product to show the beauty

Very nice size mold- have only used with an eco resin, but will try candle making- did have to cut the back , super easy - taped and rubber banded and made a very cool sculpture.

Beautiful Buddha statue with great details, there are some problems in my mal though: The whole statue is mat instead of the shiny resin, only the bottom and the carved out details are shiny, is it supposed to be like that? I thought it would be the other way around: a smooth and shiny statue with the carved out details being mat..? Area around right wrist and left hand look as it was scratched and feels very rough. Right foot on left knee is a bit too long. Pointing finger from right upwards hand is twice as thick as it should be. Impossible to get statue out of the mal, had to cut it open and that’s a shame, now I don’t know if I can use it again and I feel I would have been better off buying a statue for this kind of money and am quite disappointed 😳. Getting other resin due too tiny air being visible, but still, I’m pretty sure it could have been a better quality for that price..

This mold makes beautiful little concrete buddhas that I acid stain to look like jade. I’m new to concrete casting so it took me several failed attempts before I discovered the mold will not come off unless you cut it. I recommend cutting it down the middle of the back, all the way to the back of the head, and securing it with rubber bands during casting.
