The best for curly hair!
I spent years trying to find the perfect curl defying gel/cream and I came across this custard and I haven’t looked back! I love the consistency, smell and performance. I put it after I have cleaned my hair and put leave in conditioner. I do it in small sections until all the hair is well coated and scrunch the crust out when it’s dried. What you’re left with are beautiful well defined curls that last all day long! A must buy for curly hair.

Very good hair product
It's a fantastic product as for years I struggled to find the right one for my hair. I m white and my hair is curly like Shakira (the singer) 's hair. All the products used to be too sticky or greasy, the one keeps my curls manageable and keep my curls for 2 to 3 days! I still add an oil once they are dry to give the illusion of silkiness. I can see how the product could also work well with hair coarser than mine.

Curling custard
I love this custard. It leaves my curls defined. Cannot wash my hair without it. If you’ve used it and found it leaves a residue when hair has dried, then you are using too much. A little goes a long way.

Waxy residue left behind
This went on to my daughter's mixed hair like a dream. It defined the curl beautifully and made it light and soft. This was too good to be true though, and by the next morning it was coming out on the comb like a thick grey waxy residue. Such a shame as it would have been perfect! If you plan to wash the next day or that same night then it'd be great for styling. Company did offer a return label and refund though, but I couldn't be bothered to send it back, but great customer service from them.

Defines curls but leave hair hard with white flakes. Will not use again as I like my hair soft. Not oily
