Looper (2012) is an American science-fiction action thriller film directed by Rian Johnson and starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt. Looper has been much praised for its creative storyline and original actions. In the year 2074, time travel is invented but is banned and only available on the black market. A criminal organisation uses it to kill people and dispose their bodies by sending them 30 years back in time where loopers like Joe (Bruce Wills) are waiting to kill those people on contractual basis. Driven by creativity and authenticity the movie shows some awe-inspiring action sequences as the protagonist Joe clears off names from the list. Joe is a drug addict and has a lavishly rich life. The syndicate sends people 30 year back whenever they want someone killed to the loopers as their target. When the contract of a looper terminates they are also sent back to be killed by their younger self and this process is known as "closing the loop". Joe's best friend comes for his aid and reveals that his older self has warned him that a mysterious person called the rainmaker is terminating the contracts of all loopers and that he himself failed to close his own loop. Next Joe finds his task is to close his own loop but to his own surprise Joe's older self defeats him and leaves unconscious. Now Blu kid another hired looper enters the big picture and his task is to kill both the Joes and the syndicate is keen on closing the loops and they will try everything to make that happen. Looper was released in 2013 by Multivision in Blu Ray format. It was rated U/A and the runtime is 119 minutes in 2 discs in English language.
