Exceeded my expectations
It’s an excellent product. Though it’s a small bottle but goes a long way. My kitchen grout was pretty bad but this product did a fantastic job. I used a painting brush to apply it. It was very easy to apply and dried very quickly. It’s been 2 months since and it doesn’t fade or come off. The grout looks great and sealed. Gave new life to my kitchen floor. Great product! I’m really happy I bought it.

Easy and fast upgrade
Last owner installed this back splash with what appears to be some type of concrete. It was brown and dark and didn't look nice with the color tile in my opinion. I was worried I would have to go darker so when I read the reviews here and saw how it was covering dark grout lines I figured it was worth a shot. Purchased in the frost color which looked like a light gray. Cleaned everything really good two days prior so it would have time to dry. Directions give two options for applying depending on the tile. One is a wet method where you let it sit for a few minutes and mist with water them wipe, second was dry method where you wipe immediately with a dry paper towel or microfiber cloth. I started with the dry method and after about five minutes realized my grout was absorbing the color so fast I could wipe with a wet microfiber without it smearing on the tiles and without it pulling from the grout. Picture 2 shows it after two coats, still drying. I used a stiff small stencil brush for application. I know people complained about the nozzle clogging. They probably shouldn't be attempting home improvements as the top unscrews and you have to unscrew said top to remove the seal. I did not use the nozzle I just dipped the brush in and carried on. First pass the color looked bright white, I used the stencil brush to really push it into all the nooks and crannies. Wiping with a wet cloth as I was going. I didn't have to worry about being neat, it wiped off extremely easy from my tile. By the time I wrapped around the entire back splash, about 20 minutes, the starting point had absorbed enough for a second coating. It dried true to color, covered the brown entirely and changed the entire look of the kitchen. All this completed in about 40 minutes, granted we have large rectangular tiles and there was not as much grout lines to work over so timing will vary. I used maybe 1/4 of the bottle. I could not recommend this product more highly. It did exactly what it advertised it would, it was extremely easy and super cost effective. Super happy with the end results.

The directions are not great, but good product
Okay so, I'll be honest, I didn't really read the directions well, but that was because they were very brief and I imagined they would be self-explanatory. They are, and they are all not that helpful. I like the end result here, but I would have benefited from directions like this: This is really more of a paint than a stain, so unless the material stays on the tile, it does not color. So the "wet method" on the instructions is dumb. The dry method is slightly better, but it's really important to put the right amount of material down the first time, wait a bit and then scrape off what ran over onto the tile. If you put a really thick line of the stuff, it gets rubbery and it all peels off when you try to clean up the edges, so it's best to like squish a thinner line down with the tip of the tube straight down, than it is to lay a thick line hoping it will fill in and dry. I used the IRON color - for future reviewers it would be really helpful if you included the color you're posting about. I was struggling to pick the color I wanted. Anyone, hope this helps someone.

Great product!
Great product! Made our tile flooring look new again. We've tried every other method to try and restore/clean our grout, but without luck. We tried cleaning chemicals, natural mixes, baking soda, vinegar, bleach, etc. Then we tried wire & nylon wheels hooked up to a drill, but with no luck. This was the last resort, and it works! And I've read complaints about it looking like white out on grout, but I'm guessing those consumers didn't find the right color. In local stores, they only carry a few colors: white, gray and tan. On The company website, I found that they offer 40+ colors! So I went on Amazon and ordered 4 different colors to test. The third one I tested worked best for our tile color. * Please note that the color slightly changes when it dries. So I would recommend doing a small area, waiting for it to try first, then evaluate color match. In regard to application, what worked best for me was to use a regular paint brush, same that I use when painting the corners or edges of my walls. Mine had a tapered end, which I think helps. Then I slightly wet the end of the brush and dried a bit, just enough to get the bristles compacted. I then squeeze a line of sealer along the middle of the brush, asking the entire length. Then, just paint along the grout. Super easy and fast. Hardly any paint got on tiles. And if it did, I would wipe off after doing a few grout lines, didn't wait for it to dry. Just used a dry microfiber cloth. And, if the sealer is a good match in color, you're really not going to see it on the tile. I only applied 2 weeks ago, so don't know long t term durability, although it's a colored sealer, so should be easier to clean going forward, and should be durable enough to stick. Highly recommend! Just but a few colors first to try and send back whatever you don't open. See my attached photos for proof!
